Director duo Rafi-Mecartin's Love In Singapore, a hilarious comedy presenting Mammootty as ‘Aakry Machu', a man who to financial heights after starting his life as a scrap dealer, Aakri Machu. Now, Rafi-Mecartin is back with their 18th script Love In featuring Mammootty in the lead role. It will be Rafi-Mecartin's ninth film as directors. Though Mammootty has earlier appeared in films with Rafi-Mecartin as scriptwriters, this is the first time they get to direct Mammootty.

Love In Singapore, which has completed its entire shooting at the locations of Singapore, Kochi and Karaikudi, is presently in its post-production stage. The movie was earlier planned for a Christmas release, but was later postponed due to delays in the post-production.Also in the cast are Suraj Venjaramoodu, Salimkumar, Harishree Ashokan, Rajan P. Dev, Lalu Alex and Nedumudi Venu. Sanjeev Sankar is the man behind the camera; Suresh Peters scores the music; lyrics are by Rajiv Alungal and Santhosh Varma. There are four beautiful songs sung by Jyotsna, Sainora and Alex. The film is produced by Rafi under the banner M.H.M. Productions & the film is expected to release by january 23
