Loudspeaker directed by Jayaraj will have Mammootty essaying a character who speaks so loud that others would just go deaf. Director Jayaraj pairs with Mammootty after Johny Walker (1992) and he himself scripting for this film.

Megastar Mammootty is all set to experiment a new look for this film. Sporting curly hair, Mammootty will indeed look new and different in this film based on  a villager who speaks in a loud tone.Sasikumar is also making his debut through this movie by playing a pivotal role alongside Mammootty. Gracy Singh of Lagaan fame is the heroine; Nedumudi Venu, Innocent, Jagathy  Sreekumar, Salim Kumar, Suraaj Venjaramoodu and Cochin Haneefa complete the cast. Bijiba will score the music and K.U.
