Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi combo Janakan completed the shooting in capital city Thiruvananthapuram. Mohanlal will play a crucial role as criminal lawyer Devadatha Narasimhan in this movie along with Sureshgopi. The movie is planned as a thriller which goes along the detective vein and also has Harisree Asokan and Biju Menon in key roles. S N Swamy of the CBI series fame is in charge of the script of this movie.

Asked to brief on Janakan, Swami says, “it will be different climax for an investigation thriller with out court scene but the film has been packaged with all ingredients necessary for a wholesome entertainer.” The movie is directing by debutant N R Sanjeev.
