The shooting of M Padmakumar' Mohanlal film Shikar - The Hunt is fast progressing.It is a deadly revenge story with Mohanlal playing a lorry driver Balaraman and Ananya (Tamil Nadodigal fame) as his daughter.

Padmapriya is being cast opposite Mohanlal. Top Tamil director Samuthirakani plays an important role in the film and has also Padmapriya,Neha, Jagathy Sreekumar, Suraj Venjarammoodu and kalabhavan Mani.  Story and screenplay is by S Suresh babu, while music is by M Jayachandran.The movie is expected for a release this Onam.
