
''Pokkiri Raja' in the lead

Even after four weeks from its release, Mammootty ’s ‘Pokkiri Raja ’ leads the top of the list.The top five movies of the week are .
1.'Pokkiri Raja':Mammootty's summer offering is a winner in all terms. Prithviraj has got another hit after last years ‘Puthiya Mugham'. The film has amassed more than four and half crores share from its twenty days run and is still the favorite among the masses who schedule the film for repeat viewing. The songs of the film have also become a hit. The film has collected more than one and a half crores from the three main centres of the state.
2. 'Kadha Thudarunnu':The Jayaram starrer has the good word of mouth and is slowly emerging a winner, but the lack of publicity will affect the film's prospects.
3.'Mummy & Me':The recent release for this summer ‘Mummy& Me’ opened to average initials. The movie registered around 30-40 percent collections in the opening day. But with the good word of mouth, the movie may find chances to make a profit run
4.'Pappy Appacha':Dileep’s return movie 'Pappy Appacha’ is still holding to fourth position, even after forty days in theatres. The movie continues in select theatres all across Kerala, and turned out be a hit.
5.Alexander the Great ':Mohanlal's summer flick just manages to be in the list and within a week the film vanish from the A class centers of the state, where the film registers as low as thirty percent collections.
Also running in the theatres are director lal's ‘In Ghosthouse Inn’, Saji Surendren's ‘Happy Husbands' and Mohanlal's ‘Janakan' with average collections.
