Even though a number of small releases made their presence felt at the box office, none of them provided with enough mettle to be at the top of the lists. The Pazhassi mania, on the other hand has taken the state by a storm, and the film manages to be at the top, a rare occurrence in the Kerala box office After Magnum opus Twenty Twenty.

 Mammootty - Pazhassi Raja1. 'Pazhassi Raja' - The film which opened three weeks before still continues in all centers with houseful collections. The initial collections are amazing, all across Kerala,Bangalore and Mumbai. As expected, The film was the biggest talk and  a big opening with 80 to 100% percent in the first three weeks and is surviving all the releasing centers even in its 25th day, which already declared as a ‘Blockbuster’ among filmi circles.

 Dileep - Swa-Le(swantham Lekhakan)2. 'Swa-Le' - Dileep had many expectations on this film which was in the different treatment  and narrative styles of the presence  is definitely going to invite rave reviews. But the second week collection shows a drastic fall. The new efforts in further promoting the film is on and we will have to wait for another weekend to decide on the fate of the film.


 Mohanlal - Angel John
3. Kerala Cafe
- After a very good start, kerala cafe has gradually started inviting audiences. A film which still holds seventy percent audiences tells the ten different stories from Ten directors of just manages to invite elite audiences in major centers.



 Prithvi Raj - RobinHood
4 Angel John
- After compleating second week the film manages less than forty percent in major centers, even though more than half of the release centers have shifted it.

5 Robin Hood
- Even after a big hit like Puthiya Mugham, Prithvi was not able to keep the momentum going in Robinhood. The film is a watchable stuff with good songs, but is not doing business as expected.
