New plans for Lal

The latest buzz is that Shajoon Kariyal would direct Mohanlal for a movie titled “Talkies” since his next venture Casanova have been temporarily shelved.

He is all set to play another double role in his latest movie titled “Talkies”. In talkies Mohanlal will appear as Raveendran Nair and also as his father, a Singapore return, who is running a movie house named Kamala Talkies located in a rural premise of a village named Ramanthuruthu.

Mohanlal will have a new look for the film and has reportedly agreed to reduce some of his weight. Padmapriya plays a lady scribe in the movie. A major portion of the movie would be shot in kuttanadu. The shooting of this movie will start by the end of the next month.
