M.T. Vasudevan Nair and Hariharan team up again

Veteran director Hariharan in association with M T Vasudevan Nair, the icon of Malayalam literature, has made a number of remarkable award-winning films, films that are also popular with viewers, a fact that many producers cashed on.

With his kind of success rate, Hariharan could chance casting superstar Prem Nazir as a comedian, and having a hit; taking on unknown youngsters to star in his films that became blockbusters and award-winners. Films like Sargam, Nakhakshathangal, Panchagni .Oru Vadakkan Veera Gatha and Pazassi Raja.

Some future projects of Hariharan and M.T. Vasudeven Nair 

The team behind the super hit films 'PazhasiRaja' and 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha' - M.T. Vasudevan Nair, Hariharan and Mammootty gets together again for a new venture 'Payyamveli Chanthu'.Script of this much awaited big budget movie is almost in the final stages.'Once Mammootty is back after his vacation, the shooting dates will be finalized',says veteran director Hariharan. The title role of this historical movie will definitely be a challenging one for Mammootty.

The dream duo of M.T. Vasudevan Nair and Hariharan team up again to bring the celebrated ‘Randamoozham' ( Multilingual film) to the big screen. The novel narrates the story of the Mahabharata from the perspective of Bheema, the second of Pandu's five sons.

M.T. Vasudevan Nair is just completing a script based on ONV Kurup's `Ujjaini,' which Hariharn will be directing. Mammooty has expressed his desire to work in the project and this will be another one in pipeline.
