Dileep's family comic entertainer ‘kaaryasthan’ rules Kerala Box-office. The top five movies of the week end are:

1. ‘Karyasthan’ - It's ‘Kaaryasthan’ everywhere. The movie recorded the better of the first week collections ever registered for a Dileep movie. Collecting around more than two crores share in just eleven days is not a mean thing for a Malayalam cinema. The marketing of the film is the prime reason for the film's huge success.
2. ‘Yenthiran’ - Rajanikanth's ‘Yenthiran’ released in 100 plus stations have been removed from a half of release centers. But the movie is sure to rake in profits as it has got a steady audience especially in the main centers. The movie is sure to end the biggest hits for Seven Arts.
3. ‘Anwar’ - This Prithvi Raj starrer directed by Anwar slips down to the third position, even in its fourth week. The film showed good technical finesse and narrative styles, but sadly didn’t appeal to the majority of the masses.
4. ‘Elsamma Enna Aankutty ’ - Laljose's ‘Elsamma’ is nearing 75 days and still continues with better collections in urban centers. The movie has already made two times the profit than the investment made on it.
5. 'Pranchiyetten And The Saint' - This Mammootty- Renjith combo is till maintaining its collection graphs. The film hasn't taken a fall with the arrival of big films and is making an inflow of more than fifty percent in major centers. The film reaches Seventy Five days next week in more than 10 centers, making it one of the decent hit of this year.
Also running in the theatres are Mohanlal's ‘Shikkar’, jayasury's Cocktail' and Director Saji Surendran's ‘Four Friends ' with average collections.
