The Jayaram - Jayasuriya starrer 'Happy Husbands' has emerged as the dark horse among the Sesson releases. The film has gathered more than two and half crores from the first four week. Completed in a moderate budget of around three crores, the film is likely to break even by a four week run. The film which opened 55 theatres was declared an instant hit, as the growing mouth publicity will ensure the safe run of the film for another couple of weeks in major centers. Salimkumar and Suraj have contributed equally to the success of this film which is sure to gather more momentum in the coming weeks.

The biggest letdown of the season was definitely Mammootty's 'Dhrona2010', which has already started crumbling. If intensely marketed, the movie may draw the audience for at least end up as average grosser.

The other two films, Dileep's 'Body Guard' and Mammootty’s 'Yugapurushan' may survive the season to become average earners. In fact 'Body Guard', directed by Siddque can even become a hit, if the crew will planed well in production cost and marketing. .
