Four biggies for Ramadan

Due to the coinciding of Ramzan days with the Onam season, majority of the big banners have shifted their big releases to Id day, which will come after three weeks from Onam. This year’s Ramadan season will have four big movies in the contest for people’s approval. Mammootty will have his Pranjiyetten and the saint' which directed by Renjith after Palerimanikkam. Mohanlal will present his 'Shikkar' in which he is teaming up first time with the popular director Padmakumar.

Jayaram will have a ‘Makeup Man’, which is directed by hit maker Shafi, following the  last year hit ‘Chattampi Nadu' .The movie will also have Kunchakko Boban and Jayasurya in important roles. Prithvi after a gap of six months will have a release in the new action thriller ‘Anwar', directed by Amal Neerad.

The only big film that will grace the theatres before the Ramadan season is bilingual 'Vande Matharam' which will have Mammootty and Arjun in lead the roles. The movie is expected to be on theatres by the Onam week of August.
