Megastar Mammootty's first release of the year ‘August15’ has opened to masses in 100 plus centres last week.The movie has already started loosing at box office and it will be hard to make a recover in the coming days. Most of the critics and fans feel that the movie has the style but lack that essential punch and dialogues needed in the proceedings. Most of the blame is put on its Shaji Kilas , whose taking failed to work.

The movie as per the trade may not sink as it is sure to earn a good amount as the satellite rights. And with the next Mammootty movie ‘Doubles’ scheduled only after three weeks, ‘August 15’ may somehow retain its cost of production.
