What else would you say to see Prithvi Raj being the most successful star of Malayalam in 2011? The Malayalam rising superstar had a memorable run with as many as seven films in 2011. The major continuing discussion in the industry and among the viewers right now is whether it’s time to accord young star Prithviraj with Superstardom or not. Whatever be the case, it cannot be starved of that the youngster has risen to be a real star, and is being looked upon as the new creation Superstar who could perhaps deliver a hit by himself.

"Urumi", "Manikyakallu", "Indian Rupee", "Tejabhayi & Family", "Veetilekkulla Vazi", "City of God" and "Manusyamrigam" films have reiterated Prithvi’s rule is not going to end anytime soon.

While "Indian Rupee", "Manikyakallu " and “Urumi” are declared the year end hits in Malayalam box-office, "Veetilekkulla Vazi" went to claim international laurels at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa .

The year 2011 also added more feathers to Prithvi Raj. Success in front of camera not enough Prithvi launched his own production house to produce and distribute films. Another out of film honor for Prithvi is that he was appointed brand ambassador by Kalyan.
